How to survive the holiday season: For us who live the fit life the holiday season can be a nightmare! Regular distractions are amplified PLUS a lot of family pressure on food consumption and drinking. It's EASY to fall victim and join the crowd so you don't feel like the target everyone loves to pick on. Here are my 10 tips for staying fit when others let go: 1) Work out first thing in the am to get it out of the way 2) Eat a big fighterdiet meal before your gatherings 3) Drink tons of sparkle water and do what I do: add crystal light (unless you're scared of splenda, I am not) and it tastes like soda! Or drink Zevia. 4) Decide ahead of time what you choose to be your treat so you don’t overindulge. 5) If you eat too much of what you don't want to have eaten, do not play the guilt game: just keep going and don't look back. Just don't keep going at the dessert table. 6) Prepare a late night whey protein shake you can enjoy AFTER holiday dinners. Why? It's good to end the day with a protein shake for muscle growth. 7) Adjust your calories in your meals by scaling them down so you can eat more of the holiday food. 8) Do NOT and I say do NOT go HUNGRY. Keep carrots in your pocket. You'll be happy to see them. 🙂 9) Watch out if you consume alcohol: your judgement tends to go down the drain. 10) Do not panic if you STUCK to your diet but gain a few pounds for no reason. Remember, water comes and goes one day to another, body fat does not. You can NOT gain fat from what you never ate. Keep calm and keep smiling. STAY ACCOUNTABLE with my BTTR CHALLENGE! NO WEAK BODYPARTS: only weak movements! . Knowledge is power but not in the way you think! Actually, knowledge can change the world—or the individual—but only when it is shared, and shared in the right ways. Today further cemented my ability to FULLY heal focusing on breaking fear avoidance & working on stronger movement! . Day one of the three day seminar with @bpakfitness and @the_muscle_doc & I hold even deeper levels of respect for Ben and a newfound admiration for the (somewhat clinical) brilliance of Jordan (no labelling him Dr or he may throw me under the bus tomorrow 😬) . The best test of knowledge is not whether something is true, but whether it empowers people. And I can safely say that the sheer amount of engagement, realisations and “uh ha” moments shared in the collective audience today proves the value these industry leaders have to share. . Compelling leaders must do five things well to harness the power of insights: . Trust and share. Leaders must share as openly as possible, erring on the side of sharing more information with more people, more of the time. . Curate. Great leaders share information and also recognize unique needs and interests of individuals, sharing knowledge with them accordingly. . Connect the dots. Great leaders also connect the dots – helping people see the big picture about how any one piece of information relates to the purpose of their goals. . Engage. Ensure information and knowledge are shared in a way that fosters questions, discussion and dialogue and is two-way. Ask people what they think. Engage them in discussion and find out how their opinions may differ. . Today they demonstrated all of the above and then some! Not only did I get greater clarity on my goals, further understanding on the imp of stability & mobility for my progression in my squats, but insight into so much more scope beyond the standard programming concepts! . Excited for the rest of the weekend & beyond…. working with Ben & Jordan well into the future, alongside my A TEAM 🙏 . If I hadn’t already believed in my heart – I definitely know, unequivocally, that 2019 will bring a physique that rivals anything I’ve presented to date 🙏 . .

Throwback for #MotivationMonday 💪🏼. . . This was during my last contest prep in April 2017. Although it wasn’t my favorite package I’ve brought to the stage, I still really enjoyed this prep as it was my first time as a figure competitor. . . When I look at this post, I see all of the hard work and effort I put into building my physique. Although I’ve lost quite a bit a muscle over the past year, it’s still extremely motivating to look back and see how much I’ve been able to change my body. . . Knowing I have the ability to build my physique and create a body type that I love, is why I enjoy this sport so much. . You get out what you put in folks 💪🏼. There’s no magic pill and there’s no easy short cuts. You CAN get the body you’ve always wanted. Simply put in the work, remain dedicated and stay consistent!. . Lets kill it this week and ruin all of our hard work with pounds of delicious food on Thursday😋. #kidding #butnot

Here is some new photos I got from the professional photographer @seannelsonphoto that was taken for a month ago, about 3 month after I got my second child. I was not satisfied with the shape for a photosession but I have to be because it was so shortly after my pregnancy. I can see a clear difference with my shape now one month after this shoot, 4 month after my pregnancy, I think I am in a better shape now without going on a diet, just doing a hard work at the gym to get back every muscle and gain more. But I couldn't chose the date to this shooting. And got this offer 4 weeks before the shoot so whit 4 weeks preparing for this shoot it's ok 😊 And haven't time to do any cardio or train more in this period. Sean Nelson is really a awesome photographer and person 🤗👌
